If You Selected ELD/GPS to Connect…

And provided your ELD/GPS credentials

  • Your assigned Activations Consultant will verify these and advise if any additional information is needed.
  • Once we verify the credentials, we will work with you on testing and verifying the connection and you will be all set!

But did not provide your ELD/GPS credentials

  • Because you did not include provider credentials, your assigned consultant will walk you through providing them.
  • Once we verify the credentials, we will work with you on testing the connection and you’ll be all set!
If You Selected The MacroPoint for Truckers Mobile App…

Please have ALL of your driver download the MacroPoint for Truckers app and configure location services to “Always Allow”

Assigning Tracking Requests for Customer Loads

Some customers may require their carriers to update Descartes MacroPoint directly with driver information to track their shipments as they do not have this information. Based on your connection, MacroPoint needs either a truck, trailer, or phone number to track. Below you will find information on different options available to you.

*If you are moving forward with the TMS integration above, assignment of Tracking Request is automated and you do not need worry about this process.
