Connection Overview
To move forward with Spireon integration we will need a username, password, and copied URL address from your Spireon portal
Instructions:
- A user with administrator access to your Spireon database has to create a Spireon service account with a security clearance of “view only”.
- Please make the username macropoint-service@”databasename” where “databasename” is derived from your web portal URL in the example below.
- Your database name can be found in the address to your web portal. Please provide this URL so that we can obtain the server/database name.
Example: https://fleetlocate246.byspireon.com/abc_company/ In this example "abc_company" is the database name - Once credentials are received please email them to your Descartes MacroPoint Activations Consultant or mpactivations@descartes.com
- Truck identifiers used are 'Vehicle Names and Numbers' as listed in the portal
