# 4GPS Integration

### Connection Overview

*To move forward with 4GPS integration we will need a username and password with web service access.*

## Instructions:

1. Obtain/create a username and password with web service access.
2. Provide credentials to your assigned MacroPoint Activations Consultant or send to [MPActivations@Descartes.com](mailto:MPActivations@Descartes.com)
3. We will test the connection before finalization which will require identifiers. 4GPS uses "economic" tags which are user definable and can contain letters and numbers.
